A Warsaw woman was seriously injured Monday morning when her car struck a van on Ind. 15, Warsaw. Jennifer M. Rose, 19, Levi Lee Road, suffered internal injuries to her chest and head and was airlifted to Parkview Memorial Hospital, Fort Wayne. At press time she was listed in critical condition. According to a witness, Rose was passing other traffic on Ind. 15 near CR 350N when she hit the van head-on. The van was driven by Helmut H. Eckelbarger, 43, Peru. Eckelbarger said he tried to avoid the collision, but could not because Rose was weaving in and out of traffic. Eckelbarger was not injured in the crash. Photo by Gary Nieter, Times-Union
