Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of County Farm and Hoppus roads, Warsaw, around 4 p.m. Thursday. A red Chevrolet, driven by Herman P. Fraughiger Jr., 79, Warsaw, struck a vehicle driven by Matthew W. Poe, 41, Claypool. According to the accident report, Fraughiger did not stop at the stop sign and struck Poe. Fraughiger was transported the Kosciusko Community Hospital with minor injuries. Poe was treated and released from the scene by Multi-Township EMS. Damage was estimated at $10,000 to $25,000. KCSD was assisted by Claypool Police Department.
