'Crack' Bust Nets Two Arrests

Posted

Drug task forces from Kosciusko and Elkhart counties made a crack-cocaine bust Thursday that resulted in the arrests of two Elkhart residents on Class A felony drug charges.

The investigation into Anthony Martin, 34, and Sandra Kellogg, 22, began after Kosciusko County Drug Task Force arrested Donna Anderson, 29, for selling the drug.

On March 16, police reportedly seized about 49 crack rocks from Anderson's Pierceton residence. A task force officer at that time said the crack was packaged for sale in amounts typically sold for $20 and $50.

Police received information that Martin was a large supplier of "crack" in Kosciusko and Elkhart counties and acted on that information to make their arrests. Martin and Kellogg both preliminarily were charged with dealing cocaine.

The task forces were assisted by Elkhart County Prosecutors Office and Sheriff's Department.
