In reference to the discussion for extending runway 9/27 at the Warsaw airport.
Most business jets in use today require about 5,000 foot of runway length or less for takeoff with some obvious exceptions for larger aircraft.
Runway 9/27 is approximately 6,000 feet long - well within the required length of most business jets. Runway 18/36 is approximately 4,000 feet long.
I use CR 100E many times and it is very convenient for my use and for many county citizens. I am all for and appreciate the business provided by the major corporate companies here in our area. So it seems to me that an obvious solution would be to build a CR 100E underpass under the extended runway which the major Warsaw corporate players wanting the extension could help pay for. Then everyone would be happy.
