I had not really formed an opinion about the Warsaw airport and the adjacent CR 100E, though I use the road most days. I enjoy watching the planes take off.
But an incident two weeks ago caused me to think more about it. I was driving south on 100E toward Warsaw, nearing the edge of the runway, when the thrust of a jet taking off, forced my small, lightweight car into the other lane with oncoming traffic! That had never happened to me before, but the takeoff and my car position must have been timed just right. With my heart beating wildly in my chest, I quickly adjusted - but was a little shaken.
Maybe there are changes that need to be made. I'm not quite sure what they need to be, but I hope I don't get in that situation again.
