The tentative schedule for the county budget meeting was released Monday.
The 2022 budgets will be discussed Aug. 26 in the video conference room of the Justice Building.
From 8 to 9 a.m. will be the Commissioners’ budget, followed by the Community Corrections budget from 9 to 9:15 a.m.
The Sheriff/Jail/911 budget is 9:15 to 9:45 a.m., with Kosciusko County Convention & Recreation Visitors Commission from 9:45 to 10 a.m. Auditor is 10 to 10:15 a.m.; Probation, 10:15 to 10:20 a.m.; Prosecutor, 10:20 to 10:45 a.m.; Health Department, 10:45 to 11:05 a.m.; Recorder, 11:05 to 11:15 a.m.; Veterans Affairs, 11:15 to 11:30 a.m.; Coroner, 11:30 to 11:45 a.m.; and Circuit, Superior I and IV from 11:45 a.m. to noon.
After a one-hour lunch break, the Surveyor budget will be heard from 1 to 1:15 p.m.; Treasurer, 1:15 to 1:30 p.m.; Extension, 1:30 to 1:45 p.m.; Area Planning, 1:45 to 2 p.m.; Highway, 2 to 2:30 p.m.; Clerk, 2:30 to 2:45 p.m.; Emergency Management, 2:45 to 3 p.m.; Superior II and III, 3 to 3:15 p.m.; County Council, 3:15 to 3:30 p.m.; Soil & Water, 3:30 to 3:35 p.m.; and the Assessor will conclude the day’s budgets from 3:35 to 4 p.m.
