Kosciusko County Council approved requests by two companies seeking government support of industrial revenue bonds.
One of the two firms, R-Vision, is a new company in Warsaw whose employment is expected to jump from the current level of 66 employees to 250 when construction of two plants is complete.
The other company, Schult Homes, is in the midst of a major expansion of its plant near Etna Green.
R-Vision, which purchased the old Big Boy facility on Country Club Road most recently owned by Cardinal Center, began manufacturing a new line of travel trailers last October.
The $2 million loan is tax- exempt and requires government approval even though the county is not liable.
The money is being used to construct two new plants, one of which is near completion. Each plant is 54,000 square feet.
