The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department has filled a vacancy in their patrol division created by the retirement of another officer.
Deputy Sheriff Kreg Kuhn was previously a jailer/confinement officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department since 2008. Kuhn is currently completing his 12- week field training program with the road division of the sheriff's department. Deputy Kuhn is scheduled to attend the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in Plainfield during the fall.
Kuhn is a 2007 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and a native of Kosciusko County.
Sheriff Rocky Goshert stated that Kuhn was selected from a large group of excellent candidates that had applied to fill the vacancy of Jim Springer who recently retired from the sheriff's department.
