County COVID Positives Up 133Kosciusko County Health Department received a total of 133 new positive COVID-19 cases between Dec. 8 and 10.
Additionally, two more COVID-19 deaths have been reported, according to a news release from the KCHD Thursday afternoon.
This gives the county a cumulative total of 5,692 positive cases; 1,656 active cases; and 54 deaths.
Of the positive cases, 3,080 are women and 2,614 are men. By age, 255 are between ages 80 to 99; 355, 70 to 79; 771, 60 to 69; 907, 50 to 59; 848, 40 to 49; 760, 30 to 39; 1,139, 19 to 29; and 655 are 0 to 18 years old.
Symptoms of those testing positive in Kosciusko County are cough, 1,357 persons; headache, 1,319; fatigue, 1,247; muscle aches, 1,195; fever, 1,084; runny nose, 998; chills, 931; sore throat, 881; loss of smell or taste, 859; diarrhea, 657; shortness of breath, 638; abdominal pain, 307; chest pain, 300; and 179 were asymptomatic.
