Editor, Times-Union: When my wife and I was at the courthouse we saw no picture of the President. When I was last there, Mr. Bush’s was. Would you care to ask some one why President Obama's is not there?
I’m not either a Republican or a Democrat I vote for who I think will be best to serve the people. But it gives me a slow burn when I see a deliberate attempt by those who occupy the public government offices not to show respect to the president. Just because they may not like him does not give them the right not to respect that this office deserves.
I didn’t think much of Bush either but still he was the president and the people elected him to be it. And it is very true his picture was on all the county courthouse office walls and those of the hallways when he was president.
