County Cops Investigate Beating

A Warsaw man is in critical condition following a reported battery early Sunday morning.

Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department officers found Justin Michael Sainer, 24, severely beaten around 5 a.m.

According to a police report, officers arrived at 2366 S. Lake Sharon Road, Warsaw, in response to two people being battered. When police arrived, they found Sarah Hardin, 25, who resides at the Lake Sharon Road home, and Sainer, both of whom had been beaten.

Both Hardin and Sainer were taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital originally. Both were then take to Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Hardin was treated and released while, as of this morning, Sainer is still in critical condition.

Arnold Arnell Frantz, 24, of 1103 E. Santorini Drive, Warsaw, was booked into Kosciusko County Jail at 8:40 a.m. Sunday morning on three counts of battery in relation to the incident.

The circumstances involving the batteries are still under investigation, according to KCSD detective Todd Sautter.
