The commissioners approved creating a new account that would allow for the purchase of county vehicles.
The commissioners approved a request by Daniel and Erin McKibben to rezone a tract of ground from residental to agricultural.
The property is on the south side of Old 30, 270 feet west of Highland Place. The 3.6-acre property was partially agriculture and partially residential.
The Kosciusko County Area Plan Commission previously approved the recommendation unanimously.
North East Wawasee LLC submitted a copy of an ordinance for work to be done on North East Wawasee Drive.
The commissioners approved the ordinance pending it matches what was previously agreed to and that county attorney Mike Miner sees no issues with it.
During the April 25 commissioners meeting, the commissioners approved a compromise which would allow for a portion of East Wawasee Drive near Syracuse to be vacated and to have a roadway relocated.
Bids were opened for construction projects on two bridges off Park Avenue in Winona Lake.
Four companies each gave bids for both bridges.
The bridge projects will be awarded at the commissioners’ June 5 meeting.
