In a brief meeting this morning, the Kosciusko County Commissioners approved several resolutions.
They approved two resolutions regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act to adopt its guidelines and appoint an ADA coordinator.
The commissioners also approved not-for-profit agreements for 2011.
County Highway Superintendent Scott Tilden gave two ordinances for the commissioners to approve.
The first was to install a stop sign at the northeast corner of County Haven Drive and Sandpoint Drive, Warsaw.
The commissioners also approved installing new parking signs along a bridge on CR 125S and near CR 850W.
Bill Haase, Syracuse, was honored as Veteran of the Month by Veteran Affairs Officer Rich Maron and the commissioners.
Haase served in Germany and Vietnam and volunteered for missions while with the U.S. Army.
“It was an honor and privilege to serve my country,” said Haase. “There are so many more deserving.”
