County Clerk Announces Upcoming Election Deadlines

County Clerk Announces Upcoming Election DeadlinesVoter registration for the Nov. 3 general election ends Oct. 5.
Any voter who needs to register or update their registration needs to have it done by 11:59 p.m. Oct. 5, according to information provided by Kosciusko Clerk of Circuit and Superior Courts Ann Torpy.
Register at www.indianavoters.com, the BMV or in the clerk's office 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Any voter registration application postmarked after Oct. 5 will not be processed until Dec. 1.
Absentee voting by mail applications can now be submitted for the 2020 general election. Mailing of the ballots will begin Sept. 14 and ends Oct. 22. October 22 is the last day an application can be received by the absentee voting board to receive a ballot in time for the election. Voted mailed ballots need to be in the possession of the county election board by noon Nov. 3 to be counted.
In-person early voting begins Oct. 6 to Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The last day to vote early in person will be Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Early voting will also be held on the final two Saturdays before election day: Oct. 24 and Oct. 31, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early voting will be held in the Kosciusko County Justice Building, 121 N. Lake St., on the main floor.
Polling locations will be posted on the clerk's website and at www.indianavoters.com once they have been confirmed.
