Members of the newly created Kosciusko County Redevelopment Commission will meet Thursday afternoon to consider a financing plan proposed by Maple Leaf Farms of Milford.
The commission was created to consider a proposal by Maple Leaf, which is in the midst of a major expansion project and seeking assistance to cover the cost of road improvements needed near the facility.
The commission has countywide jurisdiction and is expected to hear future proposals outside the Milford district.
Commission members include Willis Ault, Beth Huffer, Dana Krull, Will Scheler and Brad Tandy, who is the county council representative.
The meeting in the old courtroom of the courthouse is set for 5:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
