County Approves Copier Purchases

Posted
During a brief Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting this morning, the purchase of seven copiers for a total of $54,523 was approved.

According to county administrator Ron Robinson, the copiers are also capable of printing, faxing and scanning.

They will be purchased through Adams Remco.

Robinson said the county was able to purchase the printers at about half the cost they were retailing for through other vendors.

Bob Weaver, county health department administrator, gave the commissioners a copy of his department's annual report that is sent to the state health department.

Highway Superintendent Scott Tilden told the commissioners that he will present his annual operational report to them at their next meeting, April 12.

At the April 12 meeting, bids for new county highway trucks also will be taken.

Tilden said his crews are currently working on patching potholes throughout the county.

Tilden said this winter has led to an "astronomical" amount of potholes.

A county employee breakfast will be held April 29 at 7 a.m.
