Three Warsaw businesses reported receiving counterfeit money Monday.
According to reports filed at the Warsaw Police Department, three $50 bills were discovered in Warsaw Monday.
An employee of Wilby's Gas, Lake Street, Warsaw, was the first person to report receiving the bill. Around 10:59 a.m. Monday, the employee reported receiving a counterfeit $50 bill.
The Dollar General Store on Warren Street was the next victim of the counterfeit cash. An employee of the store reported receiving a fake $50 bill around 1:02 p.m. Monday.
Around 3:54 p.m. Monday, an employee of Lake City Bank, Center Street, Warsaw, reported receiving a fake $50 bill.
The incidents remain under investigation by the Warsaw Police Department.
