Editor, Times-Union: I could never be a loyal Democrat because I like to think on my own and not consider reality as only what I’m told it should be. If I were a loyal Democrat I’d believe Obama has been a great president. The four that died in Bengazi had to die so that Obama could be re-elected since he had defeated terrorism. A rescue attempt would have meant he was wrong. The Great Depression was terrible because upwards to 20 percent of the American population was unemployed. But having around 30 percent unemployed is an economic recovery. Allowing investors to pay 10 percent for the stocks they brought on the collapse of the stock market. But printing trillions of dollars that are worth only what Washington says they’re worth and investing them in the stock market was wise. Exterminating more lives through abortion that what the Nazis exterminated in the Holocaust was needed and selling fetal body parts was to progress medical science even though Nazi scientists using that reason for experimenting on Jews were executed. I know Hitler admired Margaret Sanger for her support for abortion just like loyal Democrats support it. Obama believes all black lives matter except in abortion clinics that have exterminated many times more black lives than racist Democrats killed during the Jim Crow days. History is meaningless if Democrats look bad. We should forget that Democrats supported slavery and racism for decades, forced President Hoover to raise taxes which made the bad recession of 1929 into the Great Depression, and helped crash the housing market which brought about the Great Recession of 2008 after they won back control of Congress in 2007. We should blame Republicans for all the bad Democrats do and take credit for anything good that happens even if Republicans did it. We need to tax the rich more even though allowing them to have more money to invest in the economy helps the economy more. Thanks to Obama and Hilary, North Africa and the Middle East are in great shape. Any problems with Russia and China are minor. Often playing a round of golf or raising campaign funds is more important than dealing with problems. Some blame Obama for having this nation headed for hell. At least if we elect Hillary for president, she’ll make sure we get there. You don’t have to be insane to be a loyal Democrat, but it helps. The Democrat Party is a big tent party. The problem is that there are mainly clowns inside. If you’re a loyal Democrat and disagree, all I can say is, “If the size 40 Bozo fits, wear it." Rick Badman Warsaw
