Aloha! Are you looking for something fun and local to do to beat the winter blues? Then we have just what you are looking for. On Thursday night, you are invited to join us for Hawaiian/Senior Girls Night at LCA. That night we have all three of our girls basketball teams playing and it is our varsity girls senior night. Our junior high girls play at 4:30 p.m., junior varsity girls at 6 p.m. and varsity girls at 7:15 p.m. The theme for the night is Hawaiian and we are encouraging all students and fans to come ready to have fun dressed in their best “modest” Hawaiian attire. In addition to featuring Hawaiian and surf-style music all night, between games and at halftime of each game, we will have fun, beach-themed contests like limbo, Hula Hoop, flaming torch juggling and fire walking (just kidding on the last two) and more. In our concession area, we will even be serving special Hawaiian Pineapple BBQ Hot Dogs. It is also a very special night because it is our girls’ senior night. Between our junior varsity and varsity basketball games, we will honor our senior basketball players and their parents. The fun takes place Thursday night at Lakeland Christian Academy, at 1093 S. CR 250E, Winona Lake. Lakeland Christian Academy is the area’s finest and fastest growing seventh- through 12th-grade private Christian school. We are now open for enrollment in fall classes. Please call 574-267-7265 for a free tour or for more information. You can also follow our daily activity on Facebook at www.facebook.com/LakelandChristianAcademy As our jingle says, “I can be me because God reigns free … at Lakeland Christian Academy!”
