In Monday’s edition of the Times-Union, Jerrod Turpen was listed as having told officers a false name and having methamphetamine. Turpen did not lie to officers and did not have methamphetamine; Anthony Geib, who was with him during the traffic stop Sunday, told officers a false name and had methamphetamine.
