The 23-year-old man killed March 24 in a single-vehicle accident was intoxicated, according to test results received by the Kosciusko County coroner.

Larry Ladd reported today that Lance Lee Bailey's blood-alcohol level was .198 percent - nearly twice the legal limit - when the car he was driving struck a tree at the intersection of CRs 300E and 450S.

Bailey, of Sellers Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in Bailey's car suffered minor injuries in the crash.
