COLUMBIA CITY - Corda M. Pack, 81, of Loon Lake, died Sept. 12, 2009, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 5, 1927, in Gloclose, Va., to John E. and Cordilia M. Bridgeman Ward. In March 1946, she married Ernest Pack, who died Sept. 2, 1992.
She lived in Kentucky until moving to Indiana in 1963, where she lived in the Wabash and North Manchester communities. In 1988, she moved to Shelbyville, Texas, and after the death of her husband, returned to Indiana to make her home near her children.
Surviving are three daughters, Jeanie (and spouse Larry) Secrist and Joyce (and spouse Michael) Brown, both of Columbia City, and Julia (and spouse Michael) McFarland, Colorado; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Smith, Wabash, and Daisy Daniels, Spokane, Wash,; and a brother, Manuel Ward, Wabash. She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and a half brother.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City, with Pastor Tim Kumfer officiating.
