Corbin Arnett, 92, of 207 N. Main St., Claypool, died at 11:50 p.m. April 15, 2007, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born July 8, 1914, in Magoffin County, Ky., to Lee and Nancy England Arnett. On Aug. 28, 1934, he married Minerva Hackworth, who died Aug. 12, 2004.
Living in Kosciusko County since 1953, he was a mechanic at Dalton Corp. Inc., Warsaw, retiring in 1979, and was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle, Claypool.
Surviving are six sons: Clyde Arnett, Claypool; Carl, Greg and Rick Arnett, all of Warsaw; Paul Arnett, Syracuse; and Tim Arnett, Columbia City; eight daughters: Mrs. Russell (Cleo) Nine, Mrs. Robert (Sue) Johnson, Mrs. Ruben (Sandra) Rose, Mrs. Will (Nancy) Bentley and Mrs. Rick (Debra) Carter, all of Warsaw; Mrs. Denward (Patricia) Johnson, Wise, Va.; Joyce Hamman, Claypool; and Mrs. Tom (Kathy) Kemerly, Nashville; three sisters: Nora Slone, Prestonsburg, Ky.; Leora Bradley, North Manchester; and Grace Bays, Warsaw; a brother, Bill Arnett, Warsaw; 36 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and three step-great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, a grandson, two great-grandsons and two brothers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw, with Pastor Ralph Dotson and the Rev. Luther Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
