Cora Lee Phillippe, 84, of North Webster, passed away at 8:33 p.m. Jan. 2, 2012, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
She was born Sept. 22, 1927, in Marion, to Fred and Glendora Foster Stevens. She married John Phillippe, who died in 1985.
A lifetime Kosciusko County resident, she and her husband owned Lake Tippecanoe Siding & Window Co. until 1985.
She was the youngest of nine children and is survived by a son, Robert Phillippe (and companion Susan Whiteford, Goshen), North Webster; two grandchildren, SSG. Bo A. Hall, Camp Bruehring, Kuwait, and Aaron J. Phillippe, Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Dave (and spouse Minnie) Stevens; two sisters, Vera Johnson and Mary (and spouse Bud) Butler, all of Marion; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, officiated by Pastor Jeff Boyer of North Webster Church of God. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery, Leesburg.
Calling is from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
