WAKARUSA - Cora L. Truex, 81, of 21131 CR 46, New Paris, died at 9 p.m. May 26, 2007, in Miller's Merry Manor, Wakarusa.
She was born April 6, 1926, in Nappanee, to George Reed Sr. On March 17, 1945, in Nappanee, she married Robert Truex, who survives.
A lifetime area resident, she was a Nappanee High School graduate and a homemaker.
Also surviving are three sons: Tye T. Truex, Goshen; Jeff Truex, Mishawaka; and Rex Truex, New Carlisle; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers: Bill Reed, Elkhart; George Reed Jr., Mentone; and Glen Reed, Nappanee; and three sisters, Lucille Matz and Mrs. Al (Linda) Corwin, both of Wakarusa; and Glenice Reed, Elkhart.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa, with Pastor Kirk Truex officiating, assisted by the Rev. Terry Powell. Burial will be in South Union Cemetery, Nappanee.
