Posted
CLAYPOOL - Kosciusko County Sheriff's Dept. deputies are investigating a possible sexual battery in Claypool.

According to a report from the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, a Claypool woman reported that a man harassed her while walking, followed her to her home, committed a sexual act in her home then left.

The woman told police that she was walking her daughter to school Friday afternoon when a strange man approached her and asked for directions. When she told him she was new in town and did not know where he was going, the man drove away in a black older-model Chevrolet Cavalier with a large silver decal, possibly a dragon, and a loud exhaust.

After dropping her daughter off, the woman said the man, who was described as a Hispanic with brown eyes and a shaved head who was about 5 feet, 5 inches to 5 feet, 6 inches tall with several tattoos, approached her again, asking if she was single and telling her she was "hot," before making a comment about her body.

The woman said she ignored the man and continued to walk home, but did not think anyone was following her.

After she got home, the woman said she was in the kitchen and the man knocked on her front door, and then allegedly walked in without her permission.

Once inside, the man reportedly told the woman he wanted her to perform sexual acts, and when she refused, he told her that she had to watch him perform one.

After the man was finished, he reportedly left the home, and the woman reported the incident to police.
