WINONA LAKE - Police believe they have apprehended the man responsible for robbing Lake City Bank in Winona Lake Jan. 25.

Robbery charges have been filed against Bradley Robert Coleman, 25, Muncie, who was arrested Friday in the parking lot of Owen's Supermarket, Warsaw, by officers from the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force.

Coleman was taken into custody on an unrelated probation violation warrant, but Winona Lake Police forwarded information allegedly linking Coleman to the robbery to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor's Office.

Surveillance photos distributed to media outlets and shown to the public yielded several anonymous tips in the days following the robbery.

On Friday, police received information about Coleman's whereabouts, which led to his arrest. Coleman was taken into custody without incident by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.

Police still are looking for people who may have assisted Coleman with the robbery.

The Winona Lake Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, Warsaw Police Department and Indiana State Police.
