Copper Canyon Takes Pride In Educating Customers About TobaccoWith over 30,000 products, Copper Canyon Tobacconist prides itself on educating consumers on its products.
Chris Lewis, owner of Copper Canyon Tobacconist, said Copper Canyon has 14 locations in northeastern Indiana.
The Warsaw location at 2930 Frontage Road has been open for two weeks with its grand opening and a ribbon-cutting with the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce Friday.
Copper Canyon specializes in tobacco and tobacco-like products. Lewis said Copper Canyon is one of Indiana’s largest distributors of Drew Estate cigars, so Copper Canyon, “so we specialize mostly in cigars.”
Copper Canyon sells cigars, vape products, CBD and any product that could be used with tobacco, CBD or Delta 8.
“We pride ourselves off of educating the consumer. So if you come in and you want to learn about cigars, we have a tobacconist that will educate you on the different types of cigars, how it’s grown, stuff like that,” Lewis said.
The company was started to make it easier and more comfortable to learn about cigars and tobacco.
A tobacconist, he said, is a person that is very well-versed in cigars. If someone is interested in meeting with a tobacconist at Copper Canyon, Lewis said the person can come in and meet with that person and that person will go through the different products to find something that fits what the customer is looking for.
Lewis hopes to provide a friendly environment as the neighborhood tobacconist.
Lewis said Copper Canyon is different from other area stores in that Copper Canyon has a bigger variety, being more educated on the product and having better customer service.
To provide better customer service, Copper Canyon also has a drive-through if someone doesn’t want to go into the store.
Hours of business are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
