Cook With An Air Fryer Program Sept. 15

Posted

Purdue Extension Kosciusko County is offering a free educational program titled Cooking with an Air Fryer on Sept. 15 from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Warsaw Community Public Library, 310 E. Main St., Warsaw.
Led by Shannon Shepherd, Extension educator for health and human sciences, this interactive session will help participants better understand and utilize one of the most popular kitchen appliances — the air fryer. Currently used in over half of U.S. households, air fryers offer a healthier alternative to traditional frying by circulating hot air to cook food —without actually frying it.
This one-hour program will include an overview of how air fryers work, a comparison to traditional frying methods, tips on selecting the right model and size, safety guidelines and maintenance advice and simple and healthy recipe ideas.
Participants will leave with practical knowledge and inspiration to get the most out of their air fryer at home.
Registration is required by Sept. 12. To sign up, call the Kosciusko Extension Office at 574-372-2340.
If you are in need of accommodations to attend this program, contact Shepherd at 574-372-2340 or email at shephe52@purdue.edu. If you need an interpreter or translator, contact Shepherd.
