After their success at Friday’s IHSAA state track meet, Wawasee graduates Clayton Cook and J.J. Gilmer have accepted invitations to compete in the Midwest Meet of Champions Saturday on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. The Warrior classmates were named to the Indiana All-Star track team based on their placing at the state meet. Cook was the 110 hurdles champion, and Gilmer was the high jump runner-up. Cook will also compete in the 4x200 relay. The meet features the best seniors from Indiana, Ohio and Michigan, and the meet is among the longest running postseason track meets in the nation. The host sites rotate among the three states.
