Another hat has been thrown into the ring for the vacant Etna Green town council seat.
According to Kosciusko County Republican Chair Randy Girod, Keith A. Robbins, 607 N. Pearl St., is the second name to file.
Andrew L. Cook, 327 E. High St., previously filed a Declaration of Candidacy.
Cook is the town’s wastewater and street superintendent.
Both Cook and Robbins have previously served on the town council.
Robbins is also the brother of current town councilman Jim Robbins.
The deadline for filing a Declaration of Candidacy with Girod is March 28.
There will be no caucus since the town only has one precinct committeeman.
The declaration of candidacy form is available at the Kosciusko County clerk’s office and at the office of the Etna Green clerk-treasurer.
The vacancy came after the resignation of Todd Slabaugh earlier this month.
