Construction Along Ind. 15 Announced

Posted
Phend & Brown Inc. is currently working on a contract with the Indiana Department of Transportation for the patching, milling and resurfacing of Ind. 15 from Silver Lake to Warsaw.

The construction operations require Ind. 15 to be restricted to one lane, with traffic controlled by flaggers on a daily basis from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Aug. 24.

The planned schedule of turn-lane paving at Claypool is Friday through Wednesday; mainline milling and paving from Warsaw to Silver Lake June 21 to July 2; paving turn lanes, shoulders and approaches July 5-18; pavement markings July 19-27; traffic signal work at CR 100S and CR 200S, July 30 to Aug. 10; and shoulder gravel and clean-up Aug. 13-17.

Planned operations are subject to inclement weather and will be adjusted accordingly. All work on the contract is expected to be completed no later than Aug. 24.

Powerline construction from Warsaw to Claypool is ongoing along Ind.15 in addition to the highway construction work being performed by Phend & Brown Inc. Motorists using Ind. 15 are advised to expect significant work-zone delays and to be prepared for stopped traffic. Use of alternate routes during daytime working hours is recommended.

Reduced speed and use of extra caution whenever driving through any of the work zones are requested for the safety of motorists and roadway workers.
