I have read with much entertainment the recent letters from Tom Metzger and Lisa Rector in regard to Senator Obama's citizenship. It was purely entertainment until I received an e-mail from a conservative friend with a link to a Youtube video.

In this video, a man named Philip Berg is interviewed in regard to the senator's citizenship. Berg has filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania challenging Mr. Obama's ability to run for the office of president of the United States. All this would continue to be entertaining until you find that Berg is a registered Democrat, has held office in Pennsylvania as a Democrat and has run for the office of governor of Pennsylvania as a Democrat. Why would a Dem challenge the citizenship of his own candidate for president? He feels that Obama is perpetrating a fraud on Americans.

Rector sites the Web site factcheck.org in researching her letter. She calls the site a non-partisan site. She could not be further from the truth. Factcheck.org is operated by the Annenburg Foundation, which funded a $50 million grant that Obama administered in Chicago. Also, if you view the document on factcheck and view it on Obama's Web site, they look different. One has a seal, one does not.

While I would normally choose not to side with Metzger, he may be on to something. I, for one, would like to see the mainstream media investigate Berg's claim. I would also like the court to press this issue and require Obama to produce his documentation.

If you would like to see the video yourself, visit www.youtube.com and search "Obama citizenship."
