Staff Report-
Connecations Outreach Ministries announced it will hold services in the new building at 10 a.m. Sunday at 4068 N. Ind. 15, Warsaw.
“It is our goal at Connections Outreach Ministries to work with all churches in Warsaw and surrounding communities to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ not only through our words, but also by our actions. We are not here to compete, but to help complete the ministry of Christ,” said Pastor Taylor L. Whitaker.
Connections Outreach Ministries is a non-denominational church plant and has been a house church since its inception in October. They are looking forward to the opportunities the new building will provide.
“The new building will allow us to exand our ministry. Our goal is to do exactly what our name says. We want to help people connect to God, each other and the community,” said Whitaker. “I believe people are tired of the same thing week after week. Church can tend to become boring to people. We are looking to change that. Too many Christians are ‘sitting the sidelines,’ watching the game. We are saying ‘its time to get in the game.’ Be proactive. there are too many people hurting and are in need not only plysically, but also mentally and spiritually. In the world were there seems to be no hope it is our responsiblity, as the body of Christ to show people that there is hope in Jesus Christ.”
Connections Outreach Ministries invites anyone searching for a church or wanting to get involved with an outreach driven ministry to come.
