I hardly could believe my eyes when I read the article on animal abuse. And this commissioner makes decisions for "We, the People."
While obesity is a national issue, there are far more potent issues that have run amok in this country. Equating starving an animal with humans overeating, even though overeating is only one aspect of the obesity issue, as our rotten diet, lack of exercise, electronic addiction and a host of other evils, is a testimonial to his lack of mental acuity. This idiotic sound bite could have come out of the mouth of a third-grader, or is it a second-grader?
If I recall correctly, animals were put on the rescue boat, two by two, so they could continue their species. Sounds to me like the Almighty had a healthy regard for them.
If any of my local tax money goes to this commissioner, I would like to have it returned so I could donate it to the local Salvation Army where it no doubt would be put to better use.
