Staff Report-
Saturday night was a “Gala Affair” for 65 Warsaw Community High School prom attendees at the Warsaw Elks Lodge. A buffet was served with a carved top sirloin station from Owens Market, including vegetables, salad, rolls and an assortment of homemade desserts from Julie Rankin Gourmet Desserts and frozen treats from Dairy Queen. Prom pictures were taken courtesy of Cox Studio of Warsaw. Wildman Uniform and Linen provided table linens, and Maple Avenue Florist decorated with floral arrangements for the dining tables. Randy Warren, Exalted Ruler said, “This is one of the best things our lodge and community has ever done. It’s all about the kids and what we can do to help with expenses for educational and social school activity events will continue to be our goal.” At the close of the event, the floral arrangements were distributed by members to several nursing homes in the area.
