Editor, Times-Union: Gary Nieter has taken many beautiful pictures as the photographer of the Times-Union some of which I have clipped. The picture which appeared on the front page of the Times-Union on Saturday July 4 showing Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine kneeling beside the broken-hearted brother after his brother had shot and killed their father showing compassion is classic. I wish AP would pick up this scene so those who are involved in the “War On Police” would see the other side of those who protect us. It would be good if this picture would penetrate the Oval and AG offices. Thank you sheriff for demonstrating Christian love and sympathy. R. Wayne Snider Winona Lake
