Editor, Times-Union:
On September 9th, the community of Warsaw and the ALS community beyond our city limits came together to raise awareness of ALS and attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest chain of floating inflatables. We had about 600 smiling faces that morning.
Although we didn’t break the World Record, we did raise ALS awareness and enjoyed each others’ company. We want to thank this community for your support, especially the following: Warsaw Police Dive Team, Lutheran EMS, Warsaw Fire Department, Indiana DNR, Project Milieu Productions, NTH Productions, Chris McCrea of Kimpel & Associates, Splendor Boats, Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, R&W Rope, Aqua Lily Pad, 101.1 WIOE, Tenney & Sons, Rob Bishop, Tony Garza and Mike Cusick.
We’re going to try to break the record again next summer! Stay tuned for details and please join us!
ALS is horrible but we’re continuing to fight with a smile.
With love and gratitude,
Anjie Anglin and Family
