Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will offer free community paddle boarding and canoeing from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27 at Pike Lake Beach, 1009 E. Arthur St., Warsaw.
Enjoy time on the water with one of the parks department’s Community Paddle Boarding & Canoeing events. This free program gives community members the opportunity to explore the lake using paddle boards or canoes.
No registration is needed, but all participants must have a waiver and rules form on file each calendar year. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.
A few things to know before you paddle:
• Participants under 16 must have an adult in the water with them.
• Paddle boards, canoes, and life vests are provided by the Parks Department.
• Equipment is available first come, first served and used in timed sessions so everyone has a chance to participate.
• Staff will provide a quick safety overview before you head out on the water.
• All activities are supervised by parks staff.
Stop by, grab a paddle, and enjoy the lake!
