Committeemen To Name Plank's Successor

Twelve Republican precinct committeemen will vote Jan. 30 on who should replace Jeff Plank as mayor of Warsaw. Those committeemen are: Warsaw 1-1 - Wanda Foster, Ivywood Lane; Warsaw 1-2 - Mary Hartle, East Clark; Warsaw 2-1 - Eugene Brumfield, South Argonne Road; Warsaw 2-2 - Jan Lackey, Lakeview Drive; Warsaw 3-1 - Rosalee Spear, Country Club Drive; Warsaw 3-2 - Jack Wilhite, Fisher Avenue; Warsaw 4-1 - Mark Swinger, West Winona Avenue; Warsaw 4-2 - Richard Keevan, North Washington; Warsaw 4-3 - Duane Ronk, West Center Street; Warsaw 5-1 - Warren Tatter, Gilliam Drive; Warsaw 5-2 - Dan Brumfield, Clark Street; and Warsaw 5-3 - Herb Dye, East Fort Wayne Street.

Applications for the office of mayor may be filed with county auditor Charlene Knispel, Kosciusko County Republican Party secretary, until 7 p.m. Jan. 27. The precinct caucus will meet in the city council chambers at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 to hear statements by candidates and to select the next mayor.
