In a brief county commissioners meeting this morning, a request to lower a part of Lapointe Drive near Milford from 35 mph to 25 mph was approved.
From CR 250E to CR 300E, Lapointe Drive will be lowered 10 mph.
The commissioners also approved an Employee Assistance Program for county employees because of changes in medical insurance.
The board also approved an event from the Indiana State Police where officers will ride stationary bikes at the old courthouse June 4.
The event is to raise money for widows of officers who die in the line of duty.
The event is rain or shine.
Matt Boren, from Kosciusko Area Bus Service, informed the commissioners that he picked up a 2010 Dodge Caravan with a wheelchair lift Monday.
The vehicle came from a grant and will be used to transport Medicaid residents and those needing to travel out of the county.
Boren said the vehicle has the capability to transport two wheelchair-bound riders.
