Demolition began Thursday on a building at 202 S. Union Street. The building formerly housed a lawn mower repairs shop, but had fallen into disrepair in recent years. Demolition work is being done by Chuck Shane Demolition and Excavating, Akron. According to county property records, the building is owned by Jessie and Randall Slone.
