Paul F. Schue Jr., co-founder of the Warsaw Astronomical Society, photographed Comet Lemmon (pictured) and Comet SWAN Monday night in the evening skies over Warsaw. Lemmon was discovered in January this year, was nearest to Earth on Tuesday, will be closest to the sun on Nov. 4 and won’t return for another 1,300 years, according to the Royal Astronomical Society. SWAN was discovered on Sept. 11 by Vladimir Bezugly through SWAN imagery, and it was closest to Earth on Monday.
