Combined Community Services Hosts 32nd Annual Adopt A Family Program

Posted

Combined Community Services (CCS) announced the return of its Adopt A Family program for 2025.
The Family Sign-Up Day for families in need of Christmas assistance will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to noon at the CCS office, 1195 Mariners Drive, Warsaw.
Families who received Adopt A Family help in 2024 or are participating in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program will not be eligible to register this year. Full eligibility details can be found online at www.ccsgives.com/adoptafamily.
Those wishing to adopt a family this Christmas season can begin doing so on Thursday, Nov. 6, or by visiting www.ccsgives.com. Individuals, families, churches and businesses are encouraged to participate by providing gifts for children, food or grocery cards for holiday meals and other items that help make the season bright for local families, according to a news release from CCS.
“Each year, we witness the incredible impact of this program not only on the families who receive support but also on the donors who give,” said Kiira Churchill, executive director of Combined Community Services. “It’s a powerful reminder of how compassion and generosity can transform the holidays for our neighbors.”
The Adopt A Family program continues to be a cornerstone of CCS’s mission to connect those who can help with those who need help, ensuring that every family experiences the joy and dignity of the Christmas season, the release states.
