Colvin W. Cox

AKRON – Colvin W. Cox, 55, of 14189 N. Ind. 25E, Macy, died Feb. 14, 2013.
He was born Jan. 5, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio, to Don and Helen Colvin Cox. On May 24, 1990, in Toledo, he married Kelly L. Music,  who survives.
He was a mechanic his entire life and most recently he was the transportation co-director of the Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. He attended Start High School, Toledo, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy in 1983. He was an accomplished mechanic and adored his family.
Also surviving are a daughter, Carly Cox, Macy; a son, Cooper Cox, Macy; and a sister, Maryjean Cox, Toledo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Don M. and Helen L. Cox, who both past in the last year.
A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at  Macy Christian Church, 190 E. Commerce St., with Pastor Dave Welsh officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Toledo.
Hartzler Funeral Home, 305 W. Rochester St., Akron, is in charge of arrangements.
