I wanted to submit my opinion on the ignorance that Jim Caldwell has for sitting the starters this weekend.
Seriously, a perfect season and you make them all watch from the bench? How is that at all motivation going into the playoffs? You want all to be healthy, I understand, but Peyton was hit once through the first half. Give some respect to our offensive line and let them play! I'm sick of the sit, rest up and lose in playoffs. It is getting really old!
Remember our Super Bowl year? We didn't have a bye week and played all the way through and never stopped! We would have won this game, I'm 100 percent sure, but you had to pull the Dungy rest out of your playbook. As coach Herman Edwards would say, you play to win the game. Well we sure as hell didn't.
Now next week I expect Manning won't even play but a series and then a bye week. Even more time off. We have been here way too many times and I so hope we can pull through because this should be our year. Go Colts! We can do this!
