Saturday in Winona Lake

The Grace College Women's basketball team fought back from a 21-point first half deficit to tie Goshen College Saturday, but the Maple Leafs held on for a 73-67 Mid-Central Conference win. Goshen jumped out to a 31-10 lead early in the first half and led 42-28 at halftime. Goshen pushed the lead to 17 in the second half, but the Lancers tied the game at 57. Amy Doron scored eight points for the Lancers, giving her 1,002 career points. She also pulled down 10 rebounds. Doron is the sixth Lady Lancer to reach the 1,000-point plateau. Amilia Devros led Grace with 19 points. Danielle Mowery added 17 points and six rebounds. Grace, now 4-15 and 1-5 in the MCC, will play at No. 1 St. Francis Wednesday at 7 p.m.
