HUNTINGTON -ÊThe Manchester College baseball team traveled to Huntington College Wednesday and took home a 10-5 win.

Manchester jumped out to an early 5-0 lead after one inning of play and continued to dominate offensively. The Spartans produced 10 runs on 17 hits in the victory.

Blake Collinsworth led the Manchester squad by going 3 for 4 at the plate with a double, two RBIs and two runs scored. Jeff Meyer and Darren Reed each went 3 for 5.

Manchester is now 11-10 on the season.

Grace Takes Sixth

Wednesday in Upland

Grace College's men's golf team placed sixth in Wednesday's eight-team MCC match at Walnut Creek Golf Course in Upland.

Marian won the match and tiebreaker with a 313 and was followed by Indiana Wesleyan (313) and Taylor (319). Grace shot 326.

Indiana Wesleyan's Kyle Chin won medalist honors with a 73. Jon Nixon's 78 led Grace (2-5).

Grace's next match is Saturday at Norwood Golf Club in Huntington.
