WINONA LAKE - The Grace College men's tennis team lost a battle of teams without a loss in conference play Wednesday, dropping a 9-0 decision to defending Mid-Central Conference champion Indiana Wesleyan. The Wildcats entered the contest 3-0 in MCC play, while the Lancers were 2-0.

Grace played particularly well in doubles action, losing three hard-fought matches. The closest was at No. 2 doubles where Brandon Conley and Matt Blevins lost 8-6. Landon Reifsnider and Dan Benyousky lost the No. 1 doubles match 8-4 and Zac McGowen and Drew McIntire lost at No. 3 doubles 8-3.

In singles action, Indiana Wesleyan won all six matches in straight sets. The best match came at No. 3 singles where Conley lost 6-2, 7-6 after holding a 5-0 second set lead.

Grace (3-1, 2-1 MCC) will play at Taylor Saturday at 10 a.m. in another conference match.
