Grace College's volleyball team came away from the Hope College Invitational with a 1-3 record. The Lancers defeated Aquinas 14-16, 15-9, 15-6, 15-8. Grace was defeated by Hope College, Hillsdale College and Calvin College.

Manchester College participated in the Ohio Northern Volleyball Tournament Friday and Saturday and is now 0-9 on the season. On Friday, Manchester was defeated by St. Mary's and Thomas More. On Saturday, the Spartans fell to Wittenburg and Ohio Northern.

Grace College's men's soccer team picked up a 2-1 win over Hillsdale at home on Saturday. The overtime win moves the Lancers' overall season record to 2-1. Grace will be in action again Wednesday when it hosts Marian at 4 p.m.

Manchester's men's soccer team participated in the Elizabethtown Tournament Saturday and Sunday and came away with two losses. The host team defeated the Spartans 3-0 on Saturday. Manchester fell to King's College 2-1 on Sunday.

Despite facing two very talented teams in Madonna and Hanibal-LaGrange, Grace College's women's soccer team came away from the Trinity Christian Tournament with a 2-0 record and the championship. The Lancers defeated Madonna 1-0 in overtime and Hannibal-LaGrange 4-0 in the championship game.

With a 9-0 loss to Marian College on Saturday, Grace College's women's soccer team fell to 0-3 on the season and 0-3 in the MCC. The Lancers will be in action again Tuesday at 4 p.m. when they travel to Goshen College.

Grace College sophomore James Kennedy ran a time of 24:39 at the IPFW Invitational on Saturday to shatter the course record. As a team the Lancers finished first with a score of 48. Paul Paschal finished in second-place for Grace. The Lancers, ranked 32nd in the NAIA poll, are 14-1 on the season.
